A hat-trick for Ross Cheeseman on his return to the club saw Linby Colliery Reserves climb to 9th in the table.
Linby stormed into a four goal lead after only 25 minutes, with the first coming after only 4 minutes. Aaron Ingram's free kick was spilt by the home 'keeper and Cheeseman snaffled up the loose ball to score, 1-0.
With just 10 minutes on the clock it's 2-0. Richard Howell's beautifully weighted through ball to Cheeseman is laid off to Ingram who smashes home from 18 yards.
4 minutes later and it's 3. Ingram's through ball, finds Johnny Scott who bravely goes in with the home keeper and squeezes the ball home.
On 25 minutes, Mitch Duffin scores a superb solo goal as he beats 2 defenders and rounds the 'keeper to make it 4-0.
Linby take their foot off the gas and 'keeper Glen Guyatt is called upon to make 2 good saves to deny the home side. HT 4-0
Normal service is resumed 10 minutes into the second half as Cheeseman cuts inside and curls a lovely left foot shot into top corner, 5-0. Ross Cheeseman completes his hat-trick on 73 minutes, heading home a teasing cross from man of the match Mitch Duffin. FT 6-0.
