Will there be a reserve side this season? Rumours say there might not be
ReplyDeleteI can only assume these are the rumours on the HRLFC guestbook. We have a new manager in place in Ash Ward and enough players signed on for 2 sides.
ReplyDeletecorners dont count!
ReplyDeleteThis web-site is boring now..Any one agree???
ReplyDeleteOh the irony... 4-0 defeat and nothing on the new website yet.
ReplyDeleteWatched last night, have to say one of the worst Linby sides i have seen for a long long time!!! could be a long hard season.
ReplyDeleteI fear for Linby. tis a poor side. poor management. they have a poor attitude, kind of an "us vs the world" sorta attitude.
ReplyDeleteits a shame.
Any predictions from the Linby camp for tomorrow ? Rolls seem to have a lot of opinions on there site.
ReplyDeleteopinions mean nothing, the result is what counts!
ReplyDeleteits funny how all these posts are anonymous....mainly the bitter ones, name up??
doubt it.
screech
i agree screech they should man up and name up!
ReplyDeletea couple of easy wins and they soon disappear!
ReplyDeletewhen were the easy wins?
ReplyDeleteEvery person involved at Linby knows they have a few deep rooted problems and 2 lucky wins doesnt paper over the cracks
Read the match report against Rolls for good quotes on the subject of luck.
ReplyDeletewatched the 1st team today apart from 2 good saves from craig we never looked like losing unlucky lads dont listen any1 who douts u, listen to ur team mates n urself
ReplyDeleteDid Linby actually lose in the County Cup to a team that only a few weeks later had to fold because they just cant raise a competitive side?
ReplyDeleteIs the nosedive the club are in ever going to stop?
When is this LINBY nosedive ever going to end? I mean saturday two wins 5-0 and 6-0, 2 hat tricks, SHOCKING! Whats happening lads?
ReplyDeleteAgainst two genuine quality sides as well.
ReplyDelete"Goals galore" again this week. Shame they went in your net !
ReplyDeleteBit like the Brian Wakefield Memorial Ground the previous week.
ReplyDeleteBuzzing on here....
ReplyDeleteSorry if the banter/jokes you were looking for aren't on here. I suggest you head to other club's websites for that kind of stuff. Comments on club websites can reflect badly on a club and as a result anonymous childish comments and jokes will not be published.
ReplyDeleteisnt banter all part of a football club? I agree re the abuse but banter is great for spirit.
ReplyDeleteRelegation?
due to me being a complete idiot saturday and puching the goal post cuz i was so upset with myself i have broken my hand and will b unable 2 play in goal 4 6 weeks but can sub up if needed sorry i have let myself and the team down glenn
ReplyDeleteIs Bert still organising your fundraising bike ride to Skeg now he is Hucknall Rolls Ressies new assistant manager ?
ReplyDeleteBERT is busy organising a defeat against a team
ReplyDeletethat lost 20-0, yes twenty -nil,(thats not a misprint).
BERT is busy organising a team that did the double over Linby this season,a semi final cup game and a possible league title!! not bad for a team that lost to a side full of ringers!!!
ReplyDeletePhil Hale informed me they only had 3 ringers, and that Rolls deserved to lose and didnt play well.
ReplyDeleteBut yes, the remainder is true. Well done.
BERT is still a registered player for
ReplyDeleteLinby
Rolls didn't play well but that doesn't change the FACT that Bottesford played a number of ineligible players ( the exact number of illegal players is not known). Your comment on the amount of ringers played comes across as tho you condone what the cheating bastards of Bottesford did??!! I think you would be feeling as I do if the same happened to Linby especially in the
ReplyDeleteprecarious position that you find yourselves in!!!
Yes BERT is a registered player with linby!, doesn't that just show how bad things have become at Linby if one of their players would rather be at rolls. Also, if any player or manager wishes to better themselves by moving to a better ran club then they should be applauded not slagged off. You should be asking yourselves why he left etc!
ReplyDeleteWe never ask ourselves why anyone left. It's always the leavers fault, never ours. That policy and attitude has got us where we are today.....ooops!
ReplyDeleteShut up about burt and ringers , your nearly as boring as your website
ReplyDeleteIs it true that the 1st team management have quit?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeletegood turn out at training?
ReplyDelete35 players trained. Excellent turn out
ReplyDeleteGood luck for the season.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see the first 3 points in the bag, knew it was coming, well done to the team!
ReplyDeleteGlenn broke his hand punching a goalpost?!
ReplyDeleteThat's well funny.
Come on Linby.
whos "jc" Glenn
